Bolt joined the AGR family from Pinal County Animal Shelter. He does not like male dogs - he likes female dogs. Meet and greet with other dogs in the house are required. FROM BOLT'S FOSTER MOM: Bolt is an active and playful dog who just needs a little training with manners. He is quite smart and knows commands such as sit, stay, leave it, and drop it. He is eager to please. He will give you his toy so you can throw it for him. He likes toys he can chew on. He is learning to walk with a Halti (gentle-leader) and is doing well with it. Bolt doesn't bark a lot, even when other dogs are barking at him on walks. If he does make noise, he will stop as soon as you tell him to. He will alert you when people come to the house, but he's not obnoxious about it. He does well during car rides. He likes meeting new people, but needs to learn not to jump up. Bolt is not food aggressive. He sits for his dinner, and doesn't mind if you are near his food dish while he's eating. Bolt would do well in a household with people who like to play outside with him. He would love a back yard to run around in. He would also love to curl up on the couch with you, or without you.
