My name is Ranger. I’m a red fawn greyhound that’s kinda tall. Some say I’m handsome. I’m a little shy but the kennel volunteers are helping me to become more social. I’m learning that affection makes me feel warm and secure, and I soak up as much attention as I can get. If I like you, I will lean up against you so that you can stroke my ears and perhaps give me a hug around the neck. I really like hugs, especially if they come with a kiss on my nose. I need a strong connection with my human guardians so I will probably become a ‘Velcro’ dog and follow you from room to room. After all, I need to make sure that you’re not getting into any mischief. If you’re getting close to being out of line, your nether regions will receive a nosey nudge from me.  Don’t say I didn’t warn you. HA!
