She is at ease with both males and females - and likes children. Riley has learned to use a doggie door and can entertain herself with squeaky toys that she carries around the home in her mouth. She also enjoys cooling her tummy on the top step of the pool. Riley will growl or bark at other dogs if they approach her too quickly but she gets along well with her two greyhound roommates and two temporary greyhound visitors. Riley is a talker and whines when she sees other dogs across the street or behind fences. She is not the least shy and can handle being alone for a short while without becoming anxious. Unexpected and unfamiliar activity like a bouncing basketball or quick movements above or around her sometimes make her a little skittish. Riley has a high prey drive and cannot live with small dogs or cats. |
