Dear Greysters -
Last semester it was a cat that needed a home and Lucy found a wonderful home through AGR. This time, it's Dexter that needs a home.
I am a student in the Vet Tech program at Pima Community College's East Campus. Every semester we have dogs and cats on campus that we care for and then adopt out at the end. One of the students was planning to adopt Dexter and took him home this week-end. Unfortunately he is a little dominant for her other male dog. He has done fine with the cats and the rabbit.
Dexter came to us with heartworm disease and we have been treating him all semester. He is doing really well although he is still exercise restricted. Because of the heartworm treatments he has not been neutered yet, which could account for his dominance with the other male dog. When out walking he does not bark at other dogs.
Dexter is a beagle mix, is between 1-2 years old, weighs about 35 lbs and is a love. Pictures attached.
If you or anyone you know might be interested in Dexter, please let me know as soon as possible. You can email me at jlvaupel@msn.com or call me at 574-7722 or 576-8931.
Thanks much
